I am so excited about 2010. I will reflect a little on 2009 and say even though I hated it for the most part it played a pivotal part in my life from here on out.

My Update!
I have not put in a post because I have been so busy and I don't have internet...How am I online now well that's my secret. Anyway, I have so many fun styles to show off with my hair. I still have genie locks in. They look better with every growing day. I will be making a post with my many styles soon bare with the delay.
Also I have begun to lose weight which is going awesome because I am walking the pounds away. My goal is to lose roughly 8 pounds a month. With this I can lose 96 pounds in a year reaching my target weight of fitness and health. This journey should be fun I have so much support. The nutrition is the issue not the working out part. Teh cost of good food is so ridiculous. My first goal is to eat Breakfast instead of skipping it.
I just learned how to do Peruvian earrings, so expect to see the finished products of my knowledge. I have been thinking about starting my own business soon . I want to do crafts like Throws, Beanies, Jewelry and much more. I also want to start my own natural hair magazine for college students or the everyday woman. My aim is for People in my area because I plan to look for salons for them but hopefully if it takes off I will move towards a broader audience. One step at a time.

What I am Thankful for
I am so Thankful for the fact my hair is growing. I just learned that hair grows 1/2 inch a month it has been 7 months and I have to my calculation 3 1/2 inches of new growth. It feels like more but I excited. I was gonna do my big chop on Thanksgiving but that Native American Genocide is not how I wanna remember my hair birthday. So I have decided I will get this wonderful new protective style. I am getting Yarn Braids. I was very leery about this idea but I am really excited about them I can't wait to see the results. I got the know how from Youtube channel BlackOnyx77 she is awesome! I got the guts from my one of my best friends in the entire world J Money...lol

My hair update
I have been transitioning since my last perm in April 2009. That would make today 7 months without the Lye. I have been tempted by my mother who wants me to desperately have a perm but to no a veil. The thing is when you wait this long you know that your goal is around the corner. My hair is soooo thick I am trying to learn all I can about how to take care of my hair so I can cut it and keep it looking nice. I cannot wait until I have the money to purchase Unrefined Shea Butter and try Carol's Daughter. Big things are happening in my life so I will be documenting it for the world to know.
